Recently I was honored to join the AdvisorHub Recruiting Roundtable “An Industry in Transition,” where we discussed the technological benefits affecting advisor transitions.
Two converging factors have made switching firms significantly easier:
– Electronic Document Signature: The emergence of e-signature and Docusign has significantly reduced what has historically been an arduous and time-consuming process for clients.
– Remote Client Communication: The pandemic has forced society, including financial advisors and their clients, to utilize remote communications. Many clients will no longer require in-person visits to discuss your transition to a new firm.
Eliminating transition barriers is a win for both advisors and clients.
