The only ranking that counts

There are plenty of rankings in the financial industry – which firms have the highest financial advisor headcount, the most assets under management or number of office locations.

For my analysis in consulting advisors, the most important ranking is ADVISOR SATISFACTION. What is most interesting about those surveys is that advisors are consistently the happiest at firms with whom you’re likely unfamiliar.

Why is that?

Because the small-mid size firm experience is where vast entrepreneurial growth is nurtured, and service and support are the firm’s foundation.  Look for a firm where the advisors are truly happy after the honeymoon is over.
