There is always much talk about having an ‘advisor-friendly culture.’ Far too often those are just hollow words that sound good. Culture cannot be fabricated, nor can it be bought with the biggest checkbook. Culture starts with real people caring about the work that they do and how that work affects others. It begins at the top and extends through every process and interaction throughout the workplace.
Can you say that your firm exhibits culture that makes you proud? If not, isn’t it time that you look for one that does? Do your homework and look past that big upfront.
